The global expansion of the Porsche Design brand with stores and shop-in-shops started with the opening of the Berlin store in 2004. To date the brand is represented in 24 locations in 12 countries worldwide including the UAE, Kuwait and Beirut.

The new stores at DIFC and DFC reflect the brand's ongoing ambitious expansion plans to create a global brand footprint across the world and brings the total number of Porsche Design outlets in Dubai to 7.

All Porsche Design stores are fitted with the specially developed Porsche Design Store Concept created by Milan star designer and architect Matteo Thun. He developed a layout and concept that uses high-quality materials and techniques to express the values of the brand and the personality of the products.

Porsche Design is characterised by masculine, functional products which reflect the utmost in engineering performance; they use innovative and high quality materials with clear and streamlined language of shape and form combining traditional craftsmanship and engineering with the latest technology.

The store at DIFC is located in basement 1 from The Gate entrance on the retail and restaurants floor and occupies a space of 65 square metres. At DFC the store can be found on the first floor, shop number 243 at the entrance to the Intercontinental Hotel.

Mr. Mohi-Din BinHendi, President of BinHendi Enterprises, said:

"This is a great brand to have in our portfolio and is a unique concept that is growing around the world, particularly in the Middle East. Porsche Design is interesting in that it combines style and fashion with cutting-edge technology, and this is reflected also in the layout of the stores."
