Evans unveils stylish spring summer 2008 Collection

Evans, the leading plus size specialist retailer from the UK, steps into spring summer season in style embracing key catwalk trends.

Modelled to perfection by Evans' new face Crystal Renn, the collection features bold colours and is very feminine in style, providing the perfect capsule wardrobe for spring.

Casual wear from Evans sees influences from various genres including inspiration from 70's vintage with an added modern charm. In store are ombre maxi dresses in vibrant colours, cute ditsy print tops and dark indigo high waisted jeans.

While 20's art deco detailing features on formal jerseys, native and ethnic prints are visible on elegant chiffon shift dresses and A-line skirts. In addition, there is a clear nautical vibe evident in the collection of striped jerseys and chambray knits featuring pretty broderie details, crisp white linen shirts and red straight leg jeans.

Tailoring is also a focus this season with two piece trouser suits and the essential waistcoat, taking the lead.

"A key item in the collection is the vibrant yellow shirt dress which should be a staple for any summer wardrobe. Worn with a wide belt to cinch the waist, it shows off a flattering hourglass figure. Alternatively, for urban summer chic look, team a cute pair of denim shorts with a pretty cotton blouse, tailored blazer and silver trimmed Mary Janes, "said Marek Janeczko, Brand Manager, Evans, based in Kuwait.

Every great outfit should be complimented with fabulous accessories. Evans has a host of stylish additions that include a black mock croc patent bowling bag with silver buckle detailing, an oversized ombre clutch and a tan leather slouch bag with a gold buckle. In fact, Evans has all the must-haves to ensure you are at the front of the fashion crowd this season.

Evans is one of the top global fashion brands that M.H Alshaya Co., a leading international franchise operator for over 40 of the world's most recognized retail brands, operates in the region.
