Dr Ali bin Saud bin Ali Al Bimani has been appointed as the new Vice-Chancellor of the Sultan Qaboos University in place of Dr Saud bin Nasser bin Ali Al Riyami through a decree issued by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, reported Khaleej Times. Dr Bimani was until now the Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Community Service. Dr Riyami was appointed an academic advisor at the Higher Education Council with his existing grade.
