City 7 TV - success partner for government's religious awareness programme

The plaque and certificate of appreciation were handed to Dana Amarneh, City 7 TV Producer, for featuring the story of the Chinese family who has recently embraced Islam. The chronicle gave valuable information which increased the consciousness about Muslim religion and provided guidance to the new converts. It was telecasted as a Ramadan special on the only English breakfast show in the region, 'Good Morning Dubai'. This endeavour was recognised by the government as a major support for the success of their massive campaign to reach the UAE's English speaking community.

City 7 TV has been receiving awards and recognition from the different departments of the Dubai government over the past year.

DIHQA honoured the channel through the work of two producers who highlighted the work of the department that promoted the general standard of the Quranic performance and encouraged memorizers of the Holy Quran from all over the world.

Recently, the Environment and Public Health department of the Dubai municipality had also expressed their appreciation by accreditation of the channel for City 7 TV's valuable participation in environmental awareness programmes and on air support of the activities they have conducted throughout the Emirate.

Mr. Kapadia added, "The endorsement provided by the various departments of the Dubai government vindicates our stand of being the premium English language local TV station broadcasting from Dubai Media City and showcasing the UAE.
