New Executive Assistant Manager at the Mövenpick Hotel Bur Dubai

Michael Kasch, with over 18 years Food and Beverage experience and 16 years international hospitality experience, joins the Mövenpick Hotel Bur Dubai as the new Executive Assistant Manager.

Kasch is no stranger to Dubai having held the Director of Food and Beverage position for the past six years in both Accor Hotels World Trade Centre and Taj Palace Hotel.

Michael Kasch says, "I am very excited to be part of the dynamic hotel team at Mövenpick Hotel Bur Dubai and look forward to strengthening the team even more and enhance the hotel quality and guest experience. Additionally these are exciting times for Mövenpick Hotel & Resort as there are so many hotels coming up in UAE and the region."

Kasch is a German national and was educated in Belgium. Speaking five languages, English, Flemish, German, French and Japanese Kasch entered the hospitality industry on the Queen Elizabeth 2 cruise ship as Assistant Restaurant Manager. The following years Kasch developed his career mainly in Japan in the various F&B departments before joining JW Marriott in Dubai and thus beginning his stay in the Middle East. Before returning to Dubai, Kasch spent 2 years in Jordan further widening his knowledge and experience in the region.

Kasch will become an integral part of the team and work side by side General Manager, Michael Nugent, to ensure the high standards of quality and customer care at the Mövenpick Hotel Bur Dubai are upheld. Kasch's market knowledge and ability to motivate his peers will prove key in the success of the property and make for an exciting 2008.
