The SSP 2008 will run parallel to the Dubai Shopping Festival between January 24 and February 24.

The exceptional and stimulating promotion, called 'Don't Wait to Win', gives shoppers at Sahara Centre an opportunity to win cash prizes up to Dhs20,000 on week days, i.e. Sunday to Wednesday between 11am and 1pm. As part of the 'Don't Wait to Win' promotion, a mystery Radio Presenter from Al Rabia Radio Station will be on lookout for shoppers with shopping bags and ask random questions. Beyond great prizes, the mall is hosting the International Kids Tap dancers and a mini-play with sea creatures as main characters for kids to keep the fun alive at all times. There will also be hosts of workshops, games, exhibitions and parades.
