DSF 2008 Photography Award entry submission ends today

The DSF 2008 Photography Award, aimed at rewarding the contributions of press photographers, will receive entries till February 17.

Participants can submit entries in two categories - DSF Shopping, and DSF Celebrations. An eminent jury will decide the outcome of this year's Photography Award.

The jury for the DSF 2008 Photography Award comprises of Roberto Lobardo, Dean of Visual Communication at American University of Dubai and Jassim Rabei Al Awadi, Head of Photography Emarat Club.

Entries to the 'DSF Shopping' category should ideally reflect the numerous shopping options available to visitors during DSF while entries to the 'DSF Celebrations' category should show families during DSF.

Apart from trophies and certificates, winners will be awarded with a cash prize of $5000, while runners-up will receive $4000 and second runners-up $3000. Submissions for the Award must have been released in a newspaper or magazine for which the photographers work.
