Leading international jewellery houses have confirmed their participation with highlight pieces from Harry Winston's 1960's collection worth $600,000 scheduled for display.

'The fine art and priceless jewellery market worldwide has witnessed a surge in demand for precious stones and signature art,' said Brian Haughton, organizer of 'Art & Antiques Dubai.

Additional pieces from legendary labels include Cartier 1960's and 1970's collection designer sets worth more than %350,000. Designs from the 1970's Boucheron line and signature Van Cleef 1960's pieces from Paris will be shown.

Renowned jewellery designer, Rami Abboud, further commented, 'All our designs scheduled for display are 'one of a kind', with some primary collections worth $300,000 marked as highlight features.'

Bringing authentic Asian fine Art to the Middle East for the first time, the show will offer regional buyers a vast selection of Asian artwork from Tokyo, through exhibitors such as The Tolman Collection, with contemporary Japanese prints and the highly regarded Mita Arts Gallery and Mary Deeming with 17th-20th century Japanese woodblock prints.

Popular participating Asian Art dealers include Olyvia Oriental from London with contemporary Chinese paintings, and Art Asiatique SARL from Marseilles, France, with Chinese porcelain and works of art from the Ming and Qing Dynasties.

'Our decision to host 'Art & Antiques Dubai' has received widespread support and enthusiasms as buyers and collectors from the Middle East look forward to visiting an international fine art fair closer to home,' said Giles Haughton, event director for 'Art & Antiques Dubai.'
