National Aviation Services and Universal Aviation sign strategic ground handling agreement

National Aviation Services (NAS), the region's fastest growing private airline ground handling company today announced the signing of a strategic partnership agreement with Universal Aviation the world's leading global aviation support service provider offering their clients services like ground support, online trip planning tools weather services and much more.
NAS through its subsidiary Eclipse Executive Jet handling Services will cater to the increasing business travel market focusing on increasing executive jet traffic into & out of the country and will be the official representative of Universal Weather & Aviation, Inc. in Kuwait. Services provided by Eclipse will include Ground Support, scheduling, trip support and other supplementary services like business lounges and a meet and assist program
"We understand that Universal Aviation has an excellent reputation throughout the world and we will do everything in our power to help them sustain that reputation in the region," said Eng. Naji Al-Ajmi CEO of NAS in a press statement. "We already handle a large chunk of the private business travel market in Kuwait and this partnership with Universal will give us the ability to ensure the quality of the service our clients receive," he added.
Based on previous figures and a realistic forecast taking into consideration the growth factor in the industry within the Gulf Region, Universal anticipates NAS will handle around 250 flights for the year 2008 and this number is likely to increase in the years to follow.
"NAS is rapidly establishing a client base that includes the world's top airlines, we have a considerable share of the commercial airlines in Kuwait and are eager to have a larger part of the business travel market," commented Mr. Adel Al-Askar, Business Development Director at NAS.
