The new branch will offer a variety of services including all visa and residence related procedures, sponsorship transfers, servants' applications and others. The new location of DNRD branch will also benefit the businesses located in Jumeirah and its vicinity especially the hotels and tourist companies.
The opening ceremony was attended by Hussein Lootah, Acting Director of Dubai Municipality and Brigadier Mohamed Ahmed Al Marri, Director, DNRD. According to Brigadier Al Marri: 'The new strategic direction for DNRD has set two key objectives aiming at simplifying the procedures for all our customers while maintaining high standards of performance. At the same time, we are working to strengthen the cooperation with our partners within Dubai government and are glad to tie up again Dubai Municipality to offer our services to residents and nationals in Jumeirah. This is another successful collaboration with Dubai Municipality following the opening of DNRD branch at the Karama centre of Dubai Municipality.'
Um Suqueim branch is considered the 12th external branch to be opened for the public in different parts of Dubai. DNRD services are also available at Abu Hail Center, Bin Souqat Center, Hyatt Regency, Dnata, JAFZA, Media City, Karama and others. The branches are set up to offer diverse services in accordance with the high standards of performance, efficiency and speed that govern DNRD operations at its headquarters in Jaffiliya.
During the ceremony, Philip White, HR Manager for Jumeirah International praised DNRD efforts in getting closer to their customers. He said: 'this move will definitely benefit the tourist companies spread across the Jumeirah area. We at Jumeirah Group, are proud to announce that we moved most of our applications and transactions to this new branch in an effort to reduce the commuting time and speed up the process.'
Hussein Lootah, Acting Director of Dubai Municipality said: 'Dubai Municipality is proud to offer value-added services to everybody including nationals and residents. Our branches also contain offices for Public Prosecution and RTA, we are keen to offer comprehensive services to all our customers under one roof.'
Dubai Naturalization and Residency Department opens a new branch in Jumeirah
Dubai Naturalization and Residency Department (DNRD) launched today a new branch located at the Dubai Municipality centre in Umm Suqueim to serve the whole area of Jumeirah.
