H.H. Sheikh Hamdan will honor 1000 male and female UAE nationals who have completed the Programme training period in the private institutions that have recruited them within five main key sectors: banks, health care, hospitality and retail sector.

The graduation is a reflection of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan's interest in supporting and promoting national youth contribution to the private sector, proving their efficiency in labor market, and motivating private institutions for a push in UAE national support.

"The marvelous support and attention that the UAE wise leadership pays to the youth reflects an ambitious future vision that mainly relies upon the role assumed by this significant segment of the civil community to give a push to economic and social development in Dubai and the UAE at large. The great attention paid by this leadership to the youth is an important promoting factor that sustains national contribution to the labor market", said Ahmed Al Tayer, Chairman of ENDP Board of trustee.

Al Tayer highlighted the great success achieved by the programme in the field of preparing and providing UAE nationals with the necessary skills and capabilities in order to promote their development opportunities in various private sector institutions that set certain occupational requirements to be met by the recruits. Al Tayer praised the support of leading private sector institutions to the ENDP in providing appropriate job opportunities for both genders to assume an efficient role in building the UAE economic potentials.

Al Tayer also confirmed that the Programme has managed to graduate around 1000 UAE nationals through various preparation and training programmes that mainly tackled basic skills that meet market actual needs.

Emirates Nationals Development Programme was established in November 2005, under the directions of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashed Al Maktoum UAE Vice-President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. Its objective was to empower UAE nationals and provide them with knowledge and skills necessary to start a career in various aspects of national economy in the private sector.
