The Jeep Roadshow comprises a specially created Jeep tour bus and a team of highly trained staff and drivers who will cover nearly 100,000 kilometres over 85 days, as it visits 11 key cities in 8 countries across the Middle East.

On February 10, the Jeep Roadshow started its marathon trek from Chrysler Middle East's headquarters in Jebel Ali, Dubai, travelling first to Muscat, Oman for the inaugural Jeep Roadshow. The tour of Muscat concluded with a special Jeep Cherokee event on February 13 and 14.

In the week that follows, the Jeep Roadshow will then drive through the city of Dubai and you'll be able to spot it on the city's major roads - the Dubai tour concludes with a Jeep Cherokee event at Dubai Festival City (home to the flagship Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge showroom) on February 21 and 22 before the Roadshow moves onto its next destination, Abu Dhabi.

The route also includes, Qatar, Saudi Arabia (Jeddah, Riyadh and Damman), Bahrain, Kuwait, Lebanon and Jordan, and throughout the region, the Jeep Roadshow will showcase the entire Jeep line-up, the main highlight being a live demonstration of the "go anywhere, do anything" capability of the all-new Jeep Cherokee.

"The Roadshow gives visitors throughout the region the opportunity to experience the uniqueness of the Jeep brand that has seen it gain cult status all over the world,"

said Trent Barcroft, Vice President - Sales & Marketing, Chrysler International - Dubai Business Office. "The programme of activities in each of the countries that the roadshow visits includes special demonstrations of Jeep's legendary off road performance, with professional drivers putting the all-new Cherokee through its paces on demanding test tracks that have been designed especially for the roadshow."

There will also be great Jeep gifts and giveaways, and Jeep distributors across the region have planned their own very special celebratory events, so watch out for the roadshow when it reaches your country.

"The response to the Jeep Roadshow last year was incredible, and this prompted us to stage it again this year," added Barcroft. "The all new Jeep Cherokee will certainly attract strong interest, and visitors will also have the opportunity to reacquaint themselves with the rest of the greatly expanded Jeep range while enjoying the unique Jeep experience."

The Jeep Cherokee made its regional debut at the Middle East International Motorshow in Dubai at the end of last year. All new from ground up, the Jeep Cherokee remains true to its legendary 4x4 heritage while offering customers more on-road refinement and amenities. The all-new Cherokee takes on the Jeep rugged exterior design, and now comes with the all-new Selec-Trac II full-time four-wheel-drive system as standard.

By the end of 2007, the Jeep brand line-up had expanded from three models to seven - the most available to retail consumers at any time in Jeep's long, legendary history. No other automotive manufacturer in the world has the breadth of range of sport-utility vehicles that Jeep offers. The Jeep Line-up in the Middle East includes - in addition to the all-new Cherokee - the Patriot, Compass, Wrangler, Wrangler Unlimited, Grand Cherokee and Commander.
