SAP Middle East North Africa (MENA) LLC, a subsidiary of SAP AG, today announced that Dubai-based Bonyan international Investment Group has selected SAP software to support its next wave of business process innovation.

With projects that are defining the architectural landscape of Dubai and the region, the company is making its mark as one of the Middle East's top real-estate developer, sales, marketing, financial investment and advisory companies. The company is now deploying SAP Business Suite applications to create a 'real-estate aware' business management system, which can provide better customer service.

SAP solutions will empower Bonyan employees, providing them with better tools to perform their jobs, translating to a more efficient work place and align the company's various group divisions through a single IT strategic solution.

Bonyan Group is a real-estate Developer with special focus on international investments. With offices in Abu Dhabi, Amman, Beirut, Doha, and Dubai, Bonyan has established itself as a niche luxury property developer. The group's main activity is the development of real-estate projects through ownership, partnership, or as developer consultants. The Rose Tower in Dubai, considered the world's tallest hotel apartment building, and The Lagoon in Qatar with its unique design, are some of Bonyan's signature projects.

The property developer needed a unified business process platform to enable better collaboration with its partners and customers and facilitate processes across all aspects of financing, human resources, material management, project management systems and investment management. The company chose the latest release of SAP's flagship enterprise resource planning (ERP) application SAP ERP and SAP Customer Relationship Management (SAP CRM).

"The regional real-estate market is experiencing phenomenal growth," said Engineer Abdullah Atatreh Chairman of the Board Bonyan Group.

"With business interests spread across the region, Bonyan required a comprehensive enterprise management solution that is also 'real-estate aware', enabling us to gain a consolidated view across all of our operations. SAP has the best-suited solutions and industry expertise to help drive ongoing innovation and better collaboration with our customers and partners."

SAP ERP and SAP CRM will support Bonyan's sales function process, lead generation and management, issues related to customer services, and all HR functions. Business intelligence is quickly moving from providing strategic and tactical decision support to playing a vital role in the heart of operational processes.

"Bonyan Group can now substantially develop its business, backed by industry specific best practice solutions from SAP," said Rami Amkieh, sales manager, SAP Middle East and North Africa. "SAP drives innovation and business change, and with the implementation of SAP solutions, Bonyan can now move forward to become a truly global brand."

The SAP installation is scheduled to go live in early 2008.
