Saraya Aqaba launches interior design selection

The selection process commenced on the 4th of February and will continue until the end of April 2008, where Saraya Aqaba has scheduled meetings with the residents to choose the furniture and interior design. The lavish Interior design was envisioned by the internationally renowned designers "KCA International", designers of distinguished projects such as Madinat Jumeirah Hotels in Dubai, and the Intercontinental Hotel in London.

KCA international are currently working on designing hotels for Mandarin Oriental, Four Seasons, and several other international projects. The early selection of interior designs ensures that the fully furnished residential units at Saraya Aqaba are delivered on time.

Saraya Aqaba, situated on the western tip of Aqaba City on the northern shoreline, is a mixed use destination that offers a variety of fully furnished luxurious residential units. KCA International was contracted to envision all interior designs as well as all fixed and movable furniture. The selection process for the residential units' interior design will include choosing the material, carpets, curtains, and color schemes in line with an original color plan which would guarantee adherence to optimum luxury standards in every aspect of the units.

Mr. "Shadi Ramzi" Majali, General Manager of Saraya Aqaba commented: "We have started meetings with Saraya Aqaba residential unit owners to define their requirements and choices. Residential unit owners will be able to select the furniture, color schemes, and interior design and finishing of their homes, the way they prefer. We have ensured that the selection caters for our customers' different tastes covering all minute details." Mr. Majali also added: "Saraya Aqaba is the model destination that caters for its residents, business men, tourists and visitors alike."

The Saraya Aqaba destination, built over an area of 617,000 square meters, around a man made lagoon adding 1.5km to the beach front of the Gulf of Aqaba, includes various types of residential units, Al Hassoon Grand Villas, Al Bulbul and Al Hijil Villas, Nawras grand townhouses, Sonono Garden townhouses, terraced townhouses, as well as Al Qobara, Al Khudari and Al Carawan Apartments.

The destination also includes four five-star hotels and two boutique hotels that will be operated by Jumeirah and Starwood, Souk Saraya which includes retail shops, restaurants and recreational activities, in addition to "Wild Wadi" Water Park, amphitheatre, kids club, sports park, beach club, offices and conference center as well as other facilities.
