Grass Roots Middle-East expands with appointment of four new managers

Grass Roots Middle-East has announced that it has appointed four new members to its Dubai office.

The appointments signal a major expansion in Grass Roots Middle-East's capacity and the expertise it offers. The new team brings with them a combined experience of several decades in customer focussed work. The appointments are Jason De Winne, Business Development Director; John Nugent, Account Director; Angela Watson and Queenie Fernandes as Project Managers.

With these new appointments Grass Roots becomes a leading customer service specialist in the region. Grass Roots recently completed a major survey of the UAE retail industry which found that businesses are losing customers through poor service. With the new team on board, Grass Roots will be able to offer clients greater proficiency in how to influence and engage employees and customers. Grass Roots portfolio of services includes mystery shopping, event management, motivational and reward and recognition programmes for employees, partners and customers.

Jason De Winne brings more than 15 years of loyalty marketing experience to Grass Roots. Jason arrived in Dubai in early 2004 and worked with International Customer Loyalty Programmes (ICLP) as General Manager Dubai. Prior to this, Jason gained considerable experience working with loyalty agency Brierley Europe, Virgin Atlantic Airways and Cathay Pacific Airways in the United Kingdom.

Before joining Grass Roots, John Nugent worked at Gargash Enterprises LLC Mercedes Benz for four years as a Customer Quality and Database Manager. Prior to this, John worked in the UK in senior quality and service advice roles in the automotive industry for leading companies including Porsche, BMW and Mercedes Benz.

Queenie Fernandes gained her customer service experience with roles in India in the banking industry with ICICI and HSBC. Queenie has worked in Dubai for four years as Executive Assistant and Office Manager at Memac Ogilvy. Angela Watson brings to Grass Roots a history in customer satisfaction, hospitality, and corporate client loyalty gained in Sydney, Australia.
