UN praises Qatar education initiatives

UNESCO has praised the attention Qatar accords to the education process in the country and said the regional conference on the Arab States-mid term Review on Education for All, to be held from today until Thursday at Ritz Carlton Hotel in Doha, reported Gulf Times. In a statement to Qatar News Agency, Hamad bin Saif al Homami, the director of UNESCO's regional office in Doha, hailed Qatar's pioneering experience in the domain of advancing education through state initiatives. Education ministers from 20 Arab countries will participate in the conference to demonstrate their accomplishments towards materializing the objective of the UNESCO's education initiative.
