Reinforcing its commitment to providing cutting-edge learning technologies to the region, the company had successfully hosted workshops, which underlined the benefits of its 'Scitech' solutions at the recently concluded Gulf Education Forum, an event held in conjunction with the Gulf Educational Supplies Show (GESS) 2008. In addition to the workshops and seminar, Edutech also exhibited its wide array of science and engineering learning solutions during GESS, including the Telecommunication Instructional Modelling System (TIMS), which is a communication-centred technology using a unique block diagram approach for building experiments.

Further to its exhibited technologies and seminars, Edutech's presence at GESS 2008 was also highlighted by the signing of an AED 1 million contract with Academia Management Solutions International (AMSI) to deploy engineering equipment and solutions to the International School of Arts & Sciences (ISAS) in Al Warqa, Dubai. The implementation is set to provide ISAS with rapidly deployable and cost-efficient engineering equipment, which facilitates faster learning cycles and easier access to information.
