The membership is a testimony to Edutech's quality and class of solutions and services it offers its customers, and further boosts its claim of uncompromised commitment to meet customer requirements and solving customer problems.

The Worlddidac Association offers ideal trade platforms to the best learning technologies manufacturers and distributors in the world through the Worlddidac Quality Charter (WQC), a powerful new instrument that aids private and public organisations in creating a global business environment based on quality, performance and partnership. Officials from the prestigious organisation outlined their recognition of Edutech's pioneering approach towards delivering technical and scientific training and lab solutions, thereby prompting them to grant the company with the distinction of being a WQC-certified company.

"Our goal is to provide leverage to companies that advance the development of learning and teaching materials for the benefit of the academic and technical institutions, students and teachers all over the world. This philosophy has led us to identify Edutech's initiatives in enhancing the learning experience through their professional solutions, which help students develop world-class technical skills. We truly commend their dedication to elevate the standards of technical and academic education in the region, and we are confident that they will immensely benefit from the opportunities being offered as our member company,"

said Beat Jost, Executive Director, Worlddidac Association.

"We are delighted to be inducted in to the Worlddidac Association, an organization that is devoted to bring the best of solutions and technologies to the learning community through its high profile members. This membership will allow us to closely interact with some of the best companies that are leading the areas of innovation, technology, and research to help students and learners in adopting technology-enabled solutions to achieve academic excellence. Being a Worlddidac Member gives us a distinct advantage of being abreast with the latest and emerging technology and best practices, which we can deliver to our valued customers," concluded ASF Karim, CEO, Edutech Middle East.

Reinforcing its commitment to providing cutting-edge learning technologies to the region, the company had successfully hosted workshops, which underlined the benefits of its 'Scitech' solutions at the recently concluded Gulf Education Forum, an event held in conjunction with the Gulf Educational Supplies Show (GESS) 2008. In addition to the workshops and seminar, Edutech also exhibited its wide array of science and engineering learning solutions during GESS, including the Telecommunication Instructional Modelling System (TIMS), which is a communication-centred technology using a unique block diagram approach for building experiments.

"The attendance of world-renowned educational professionals at the Gulf Education Forum speaks of the event's significance in the international movement towards adopting technology-enabled solutions to achieve academic excellence. Our presence in this high impact event stands as a testament to our commitment to bridge the gap in the region's requirements in incorporating innovative technologies within the learning process. We are confident that the knowledge, which we had impressed upon the attendees at the forum inspired them to further develop their understanding of the benefits that modern 'scitech' eLearning solutions provide," concluded ASF Karim, CEO, Edutech Middle East.

Further to its exhibited technologies and seminars, Edutech's presence at GESS 2008 was also highlighted by the signing of an AED 1 million contract with Academia Management Solutions International (AMSI) to deploy engineering equipment and solutions to the International School of Arts & Sciences (ISAS) in Al Warqa, Dubai. The implementation is set to provide ISAS with rapidly deployable and cost-efficient engineering equipment, which facilitates faster learning cycles and easier access to information.
