Dolphin Energy Limited announced as lead sponsor of the Excellence in Energy Awards, the industry's Oil Oscars

Dolphin Energy Limited, together with the region's most senior energy representatives, VIPs and dignitaries, will attend the exclusive, star-studded awards ceremony on March 6, 2008 at The Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Dubai.

Now in its 7th year, the prominent Excellence in Energy Awards - the industry's Oil Oscars, recognizes and rewards business excellence in the energy sector across the GCC region. This annual awards ceremony has seen significant growth since its debut, with over 300 companies being nominated and over 600 attending the awards ceremony. Reflecting the prestige and credibility of the awards, the evening is supported by some of the region's most prominent energy industry leaders including platinum sponsor Dolphin Energy and gold sponsor Schlumberger.

An experienced panel of independent experts have been specially appointed to carefully assess each entry. In true Oscar style, three finalists will be announced, with the winner receiving an oil Oscar from their respective category:
