The Campaign aims at lending a hand to the unfortunate, including children who suffer from cancer, through donating blood. The donation took place at the Company's premises with the help of a specialized medical team from the King Hussein Cancer Center. Around forty KIA employees participated in this worthy initiative.

Moreover, the donation procedure is systemized by taking one unit of blood from each donor, then, tested in a specialized lab, before distributing an amount of 1500 blood units to patients in the Center on a monthly basis.

The blood is processed into two forms, both critical for healthy living: the Plazma units and the red blood cells, and also according to patient blood grouping.

"We are dedicated to aid the unfortunate whether through blood donation, moral or financial support. Furthermore, this campaign reflects our duties as a national corporation towards our society and our fellow Jordanians", stated Mr. Nihad Zacharia, General Manager of KIA Jordan.

"We are highly committed to our society and keen on meeting our corporate social responsibilities towards our community by raising the bar in helping people from all walks of life, especially those who hold the hope of our future", added Mr. Nihad Zacharia.
