Aman Insurance and Re-Insurance honors employees

Mr. Al Mansouri addressed guests at a ceremony held at the Al Bustan Rotana Hotel honoring the best employees of Aman Insurance and Re-Insurance Company for their achievements over the past year.

His Excellency Mr. Sultan Al Mansouri, CEO of Aman Insurance and Re-Insurance Company, said: "Aman works on the development of its human resources to increase performance levels. It is part of the conviction of the importance of human resources to strengthen the procedures leading to successfully achieving their goals. Development of human resources and encouragement of locals to works in the insurance field is one of the main goals that Aman is committed to implementing. Aman succeeded to encourage and attract UAE nationals to work in the local insurance industry. They have done a great job in this field."

Mr. Hussein Almeeza, Deputy Board Member and Managing Director of Aman Insurance and Re-Insurance Company presented the best employees with awards as tokens of appreciation on behalf of Aman Company for their significant dedication and encouraged others to follow suit.

Commenting on this honoring, His Excellency Mr. Sultan Al Mansouri assures the importance of human resources in development process of the UAE. The human being is the motivator and executor for all development plans. He is the basis on which country's civilizations and progress rely on. He pointed out that Aman Company had achieved significant results in its performance with Gods Will first and secondly with the efforts of the company's employees and their creativity in accomplishing their goals. These had great effects in the growth and development in achieving positive results.

He added that it was a priority to attract highly qualified UAE nationals and it gave them the opportunity to prove their abilities. It succeeded through the implementation of the strategy of attracting young locals to take over many of the leading positions within the company.

His Excellency Mr. Hussein Almeeza said: "The Aman team had an important role in executing the work plans for the company. They accomplished the missions assigned to them successfully and these achievements resulted in greater growth and development for Aman. It enabled Aman to achieve more accomplishments demonstrated through the development and leadership of 'Takaful' insurance sector of the UAE."

He added: "Aman aspires to offer many development and training programmes to its employees and has already formulated such training programmes to improve their skills. This will benefit the performance and achievements of the company. The company has organized many training programmes with particular focus on UAE nationals both local and abroad such as in the largest international insurance companies in London and Munich."

Mr. Almeeza pointed that Aman Insurance and Re-Insurance Company had succeeded in accomplishing the highest levels of localization among local insurance companies with the percentage of UAE nationals in the company reaching 30% of the total workforce. Aman was able to attract local human resources to work in this sector and they proved their abilities in all work sectors, particularly insurance. This is now one of the most important and progressive sectors in the UAE and promises development and growth to the local nationals.
