French pavilion at CABSAT 2008

Fourteen French companies covering the entire spectrum of the broadcasting and satellite industry will be present at the 14th edition of 'CABSAT' exhibition that will take place in Dubai from March 4 to 6, 2008.
These fourteen French companies aim at establishing new business contacts with both public and private sectors and create a common platform to foster networks and exchange ideas and experience. They also look forward at marketing their services and products and learn more about the regional industry's needs regarding electronic media and satellite communications.
Marie-Françoise Nolet, ICT project manager at UBIFRANCE, the french agency for international business development, stressed the importance of french companies participating at CABSAT 2008, pointing out that they cover a wide variety of products and services that could be of utmost help for local public or private partners and contribute to the development of this particular field in the region.
Mr Helal Saeed Al Marri, GM of the DWTC, recently said: "Key factors behind the growth taking place in the MENA region's satellite communications industry are Digital entertainment, accelerated deployments of corporate networks, significant need for defense communications and the takeoff of broadband access".
In line with the local and regional markets needs, the fourteen french companies at CABSAT will exhibit diversified services and products covering the entire spectrum of the broadcast and communication industry:
Infra-red & Near Infra-red goggles,
High precision modules, Film Industries, TV broadcasts, Access control solutions, Facility remote control solutions, Digital test and measurement equipments, Audio processors, as well as world-class RDS encoders and software solutions for broadcast.
