Tanmia partners with Azadea Group to boost UAE nationals' employment within retail sectors

Tanmia, the National Human Resource Development and Employment Authority in the UAE, has announced recently that it has successfully concluded an employment program, which offered numerous job opportunities within Azadea, a multinational firm involved in a chain of retail outlets, restaurants and coffee shops.
The successful candidates will undergo a Work Program developed in collaboration with the National Institute for Vocational Education in preparation for their new positions.
"Tanmia is committed to encouraging and supporting UAE nationals in taking a more proactive role in our country's development. Through this joint project with Azadea and the National Institute for Vocational Education, and other similar initiatives, we are pleased to gather momentum towards our goal of realising the full potential of the country's human capital," said Feddah Lootah, Acting General Manager, Tanmia's Dubai Office.
The selected candidates were introduced to Azadea's operations and educated on the nature of possible positions to be filled. They then underwent a screening process that included an extensive interview session. The successful applicants will have an excellent opportunity to forge careers in Azadea's various business interests.
"Azadea hopes to find highly motivated nationals who are willing to uphold our commitment to excellence. We will strive to discover individuals who will not only meet our requirements but who will also show an earnest interest in helping the company become a major contributor to the UAE's economic growth," said Latifa Al Suwaidi, Emiratisation Specialist., Azadea Group Holding.
Dr. Naji Al Mahdi, Executive Manager, National Institute for Vocational Education, commented: "We commend collaborative efforts such as this employment fair as it helps expand the role of our people in our country's development. We are committed to support such initiatives by providing a comprehensive and high-quality Work Program that will equip the candidates with the skills required by their new jobs."
Azadea Group Holding is a rapidly growing global retail group. About Tanmia:Tanmia, the National Human Resource Development & Employment Authority in the UAE, was established by a Presidential decree in November 1999, to address the imbalance in the labour market, due to excessive dependence on expatriate workforce. Tanmia is engaged in a coordinating role, between national job seekers and employers in the private and government sectors, to facilitate increased entry of nationals in the labour market.
