- PRESS RELEASE
Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans recently announced that the Jordan Kuwait Bank (JKB) will cover the tuition fees of five of the Fund's beneficiaries for a period of one year.
This initiative by the JKB comes in alignment with the vision of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al-Abdullah, the founder of Al-Aman Fund, to equip orphaned and abandoned youth that have graduated from orphan care centers around the Kingdom with the higher education and skills necessary to become successful, self-reliant, and productive members of society. The Support Schemes offered by Al-Aman Fund to these youth include Educational Scholarships, Coverage of Living Expenses, Counseling, Apprenticeship & Employment, and Medical Insurance.
Mr. Abdel Karim Kabariti, Chairman & CEO of JKB said, "Our decision to collaborate with Al-Aman Fund stems directly from our belief in the important role that sound education plays in equipping individuals to become self reliant community members. We at JKB also believe that it is our duty as integral parts of the Jordanian community to provide our youth with the tools they need to live dignified lives. We know that the youth of today are the leaders of tomorrow, and that is why we view it as our responsibility to support the youth in general and the orphaned in particular and to ensure that they become the driving force for economic and social development in our country."
Moreover, Executive Director of Al-Aman Fund, Ms. Maha Saqqa said, "I would like to thank JKB's management for its support and for helping us in our quest to secure a brighter future for our beneficiaries. On this occasion, I would also like to add that the practice of social responsibility is the national duty of all able society members and institutions that aspire to build a better tomorrow for this country and its citizens."
