  • PRESS RELEASE

Info2cell.com, the leading mobile application service provider in the Middle East, has announced that it will implement a strategic expansion plan for 2008 as demand for mobile services recorded exceptional growth rates across the region.

The robust market performance of info2cell.com has been hugely affected by the sharp increase in mobile phone users in the Middle East, which has consequently bumped up the demand for various mobile phone applications and content.

"The Middle East mobile phone market has achieved unprecedented growth rates and we have prepared thoroughly to take advantage of the huge business opportunities created by this healthy development. Info2cell.com has maintained a significant market edge with our distinct and innovative services, while we have also been building up new market prospects by developing new innovative products that cater to emerging niche groups,"

said Bashar Dahabra, Founder and CEO, info2Cell.com.

"We have been working closely with key partners in the industry to create mobile content that match the requirements of various target markets. We have been hugely successful in this regard, and I am confident that we can sustain our excellent performance by showcasing the same high level of dedication, commitment and innovative spirit in developing new products for our clients," added Dahabra.

Demand for mobile phone content and applications have surged in the Middle East as a result of the phenomenal increase in mobile phone subscriptions. According to the latest figures from market intelligence firm Madar Research, subscriptions reached over 124 million in 2006 from 87 million in 2005, or an outstanding growth rate of 42.98%.

Accordingly, info2Cell.com executives have been closely coordinating with mobile content providers, mobile application developers, multimedia content providers and video production companies to develop customised content and applications for its target markets in the Middle East.

The company has also participated in a number of interactive events, such as the NXTcomm 2007 held in Chicago, USA, to expand info2Cell.com's global network of partners, particularly US-based ICT suppliers and world-leading communications and entertainment companies, which have helped strengthen the company's product development initiatives.

"We have bolstered our marketing strategy in the Middle East and now aim to further consolidate our market presence by delivering a new range of innovative services and products. The unprecedented increase in mobile phone users will sustain the strong demand for high-quality content and applications. We have anticipated this and have prepared accordingly, which has been a key factor in fortifying our position in the Middle East market," concluded Dahabra.
