du rocks Global Village on its first anniversary

du will kick off its first anniversary celebrations at the Global Village on 25 February with an exciting line-up of entertainment.
The final countdown has begun with a total of 32,038,502 entries received in the du Ryder promotion that ended on 15 February.
Emirati hip hop band Desert Heat and DJ Mo will add life to the evening with their live performances near the Freej stand where the du Ryder is being showcased. In addition there will be other dance performances and instant prizes to be won by visitors.
Hala Badri, Vice President Corporate Communications at du says: "It has been a year since du rolled out mobile services across the nation and we thank the UAE community for their wholehearted support that has made our first year of operations a very successful one."
"The number of entries received has been phenomenal and was clearly a huge hit with du users. Finally the wait is over and we are all looking forward to seeing who wins the du Ryder, the car that perfectly symbolizes convergence in communication" added Badri.
du is the official sponsor and telecom provider at the Global Village this year and offers a dedicated kiosk next to the Freej Pavilion - another partnership that du is proud of bringing to the UAE, providing visitors with a first-hand experience of du's products and services.
