Orange Business Services provides the industry's broadest portfolio of next generation integrated communications services for enterprise, including a bespoke 'Solutions for Operators' service which supports IP transformation for existing and new telecoms operators. Egypt is a major regional and global centre for Orange Business Services, where the Cairo customer service centre has 1,500 staff, after adding 400 additional staff in 2007.

"Orange Business Services is pleased to be sponsoring the VIP Lounge at Cairo ICT which has become one of the region's most successful and high profile ICT events," said Ahmed Hamzawy, vice president of the Middle East and North Africa Region at Orange Business Services.

"Right across the Middle East region we serve more than 500 multinational businesses with complex telecoms and ICT solutions," comments Hamzawy.

"In addition, we offer a bespoke 'Solutions for Operators' proposition which is already in action here in Egypt. There is a construction and development boom going on here right now, and it's creating new entrants to the telecoms market. Real estate developers are increasingly willing to become local, campus and regional telecoms operators as broadband development grows rapidly across the Middle East & North Africa region. Our Solutions for Operators proposition promises to quickly deliver new revenue streams - not only for these Real Estate developers, but also for well established and existing telecoms operators who need to be able to transform their businesses to maintain their market leader position."
