Azadea rejuvenates recruitment in 100 days

Azadea Group, which operates over 35 brands in the region including Virgin Megastores, Zara, Massimo Dutti, Paul Cafes, Promod and Stradivarius, has ambitious expansion plans.
And the plans are definitely on track so far.
To overcome the talent shortage plaguing most companies today, Azadea Group implemented Sniperhire in mid-2007. For those not in the know, Sniperhire is the recruitment platform from Hiring Solutions used by some of the region's biggest talent leaders including Zain, DHL ME, DAE, Alghanim Industries and Jumeirah.
In just the first 100 days following its implementation, Sniperhire helped Azadea achieve more than it could in the whole of 2006!
Bechara Khachan, Chief Human Resources Officer for Azadea Group, says, "Prior to implementing Sniperhire, we used to get close to 18,000 CVs a year, including duplicates. And truth be told, it was not easy to manage them all. On the other hand, within the first 100 days of Sniperhire being active, we attracted 18,000 unique applicants and also processed and replied to each one of them."
Hiring Solutions has automated Azadea Group's complete recruitment process and its paper-based hiring environment is now completely electronic. Recruiters at Azadea these days simply concentrate on quality candidates while Sniperhire takes care of screening and evaluating on average 200 CVs a day. Sniperhire also issues regret letters based on selection criteria preset by the recruitment team, and manages applicants from job boards, recruitment agencies, etc. with a few clicks of the mouse.
Khachan says, "We went through the same set of problems faced by recruiters and candidates in most large organisations. First we received thousands of paper CVs, which were extremely tough to manage. We built an in-house system, but it was a little more than an electronic database. Then we switched to popular job boards like Monster and Bayt, and our inboxes started getting flooded with emails. Managing these was again a challenge."
"Today with Sniperhire, the time-to-hire is close to 26 days on average. Unsuccessful candidates are given a final response (rejection letters) within 2 weeks of applying. Candidates are reviewed on average in less than 10 days, invited to interview in 13, interviewed in 18, offered jobs in 21 and hired in 26 days. The best part is we actually know these numbers, thanks to the reporting suite in the system."

Azadea's recruiters can now publish any vacancy on to job boards, blogs and to recruitment agencies of their choice, with just a single click. All CVs received from multiple sources as well as through their own website go into a private talent pool. Recruiters use Sniperhire to evaluate CVs in this pool, fish out the best suited candidate profiles, and email them to line managers.
