Chery's Iran car deal feels pinch

Chinese banks' reduced cooperation with their Iran counterparts due to US pressure over Tehran's nuclear plans is affecting the recent carmaking deal between China's Chery Automobile Co and Iran Khodro, reported Reuters. Chery has agreed to set up a $370m assembly plant in Iran, targeting local and neighboring markets, but Khodro's CEO told Isna news agency, the action 'creates question marks'.
