Kaseya appoints marketing director to drive UKMEA growth

His role is to support Kaseya's rapid expansion into the UKMEA market with key responsibilities in public relations and industry analysis, as well as lead generation, web marketing and strategic planning.

Moving from the position of Director of European Marketing at Customer Interaction Management software provider Talisma, O'Connell brings his extensive knowledge of corporate communications to his role at Kaseya. Responsibilities at Talisma included strategic planning and development, marketing communications, corporate identity and branding and channel marketing.

O'Connell comments: 'I'm extremely pleased to be joining Kaseya following their significant 215% revenue growth during 2007. Managed services are the latest vogue and Kaseya is definitely the market player both IT solution providers and Public/Private Sector IT organisations are watching. Kaseya's managed services software provides an integrated, automated & remote systems management solution with a complete view of the IT environment.

Prior to Talisma, O'Connell most recently worked for Cyntergy (EMEA) Ltd as its business development manager. Here he was responsible for the company's development from a fledgling five seats supporting one customer to 30 seats and supporting large international customers in five languages. Customers included a range of high-profile retail and hospitality organisations such as GAP, TK Maxx, Meridian International and Holiday Inn.
