Cisco participation will be highlighted in its executive taking part of a number of panel discussions, business and technology demonstrations by Cisco executives and Partners.
'The Egyptian business community is becoming more concerned with the different ways technology can bring prosperity and benefits to end-users, both individuals and organizations,' said Hani Abul-Aziz, General Manager of Cisco Egypt. 'The topics Cairo ICT will host and discuss this year, such as HealthCare and eGovernment, will serve as an excellent opportunity for Cisco to share and exchange with the country's decision makers, some of our best practices and experiences from within and outside of Egypt.'
In addition to its senior Executive's participation in forums and panel discussions, Cisco will debut, for the fist time in a public event in Egypt, its world-leading Digital Media System on its stand which will be experienced on a wide 9 square meters digital screen.
Cisco Digital Media System is a flexible and comprehensive solution for digital signage and desktop video that makes it easy to create, manage, publish, and access high-quality digital media for compelling communications.
'Because of the unique qualities of Cisco's Digital Media System, its flexible IP based architecture, visitors to the Cisco stand this year can experience -first hand- the many ways business can be improved by creating a 21st century customer experience, boost marketing and branding, deliver live and On-demand video broadcasts and add a competitive advantage to service or product offering.'
And while Cairo ICT organizers were looking for ways to add an edge to the overall event experience, scalability, security and reliability of the network can not be compromised.
'This year,' added Abdulaziz, 'Organizers, exhibitors, delegates and visitors of Cairo ICT 2008 will experience how the Network is becoming the platform for all intelligent services and applications. Robustness, security and scalability are some of the advantages of state-of-the-art services available today on the Cairo ICT 2008 network that is built entirely on an end-to-end Cisco network infrastructure.'
From a vertical perspective, and with increasing interest by the Egyptian government towards the development and growth of small and medium Egyptian businesses (SMBs), Cisco this year will have on display a number of offers, services and solutions targeted specifically for the small and medium businesses in Egypt.
All SMB business owners visiting the Cisco stand can have the chance to know directly from Cisco's SMB consultants on how technology can work for them to educe business operation costs, boost productivity and increase profits.
Egyptian based Cisco partners will also be hosted on the Cisco stand to showcase their latest solutions and services to the Egyptian business community. Cisco partners such as Silicon 21, IP Magix and BMB will showcase various applications and solutions designed specifically for the Egyptian market serving various segments and industries.
