- United Arab Emirates: Sunday, February 24 - 2008 at 12:15
- PRESS RELEASE
Hertz UAE is forging ahead with a major phase of expansion with four new branches and two mega-sites worth Dhs60m to open in 2008.
The company is investing heavily in two mega-sites at Dubai Investment Park and Mussafah in Abu Dhabi, with parking for 500 vehicles and full servicing facilities. In June Hertz will open a Honda service centre on Sheikh Zayed Road between interchange 3 and 4, for its rental and leasing customers.
Bob Farrow, General Manager of Hertz UAE said, "As Dubai grows we need to be closer to our customers. We believe that our new branches and service centres will meet the needs of our customers in these rapidly growing areas."
"The mega-site at Dubai Investment Park is next to the new Al Maktoum International Airport. It will give us an operating base to complement the airport's car rental desk, as well as service our corporate clients in Dubai Investment Park."
Further expansion plans include an upgrade of Hertz branches in other Emirates and the company is currently exploring the introduction of a branch at Al Ain.
