Engineer Ra'ed AbuSharkh, General Manager of SET said, 'The ServerCall paging system utilizes state of the art technology to help the chef to page / call the servers or the runners to proceed to kitchen to pick up the food immediately once it is ready without any delay to make sure guest will receive the food fresh and hot.'
Servers will receive silent alert on their belt clip pagers invisible to guests that they are requested to report to kitchen to pick up the food, in addition to that the system will alert the restaurant manager if the server failed to pick up the food from the kitchen.
The restaurant manager receives the alert after a pre-set time to ensure that he is up to date of what is going on in the kitchen and to be ready to solve any upcoming problems or delays.
As a result the ServerCall paging system will enhance the overall operation efficiency and guest satisfaction with the minimum number of serving staff.
The new ServerCall paging system will be available on display during the Gulfood Exhibition taking place at Dubai World Trade Center between 24th - 27th of February 2008 stand number C1-22 Hall #1.
