UNB sponsors "Al Aqraboon" for the second successive year

Union National Bank (UNB) announced today that it is one of the sponsors of the UAE Red Crescent's Al Aqraboon campaign for 2008.

The sponsorship marks the second successive year that UNB is supporting the Al Aqraboon campaign and is in line with the bank's continuing commitment to support programs that are aimed at the needy.

"Union National Bank recognizes the important work of the UAE Red Crescent which represents and upholds international humanitarian values. We are extremely proud of the achievements of the UAE Red Crescent. I am pleased to say that UNB according to its strategy will continue to support such social programs that focus on societal wellbeing", said Mohammad Ali, SVP & Head Of Corporate Communication Division at UNB. He was speaking at a press conference today organized by the UAE Red Crescent at the Crowne Plaza, Abu Dhabi.
