Abu Dhabi to double capacity at Ruwais refinery

Abu Dhabi Oil Refinery Co. (Takreer) plans to add 417,000 barrels a day of capacity at its Ruwais refinery, more than doubling production, reported Bloomberg. Takreer is building a 240-kilometre pipeline to link the 400,000 barrel-a-day Ruwais refinery to the city centre, where the U.A.E. capital has the 85,000 barrel-a-day Abu Dhabi refinery. Jasem al-Sayegh, general manager of Takreer, said the the pipeline will be ready by June, said.
