Qatar: Tuesday, February 26 - 2008 at 08:06

Sales of Rolls Royce cars were up 50% in Qatar in 2007, according to Peter Schoppmann, regional director of the company for the Middle East. Following the unofficial launch of the new Phantom coupe on February 17, Schoppmann said there would be another product launch in 2009. He said the next 24 months are going to be very busy for the automaker with the coupe and the smaller Phantom scheduled for 2009, adding that following recent launches in Qatar, he was expecting an order bank of one to two years from customers anticipating the launch in Qatar later this year, reported Gulf Times.
