Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone (RAK FTZ) is actively taking part at the Gulfood 2008 the 13th Gulf Food, Hotel and Equipment Exhibition and Salon Culinary that is currently held (February 24-27) at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center.
"The zone's participation at the Gulfood 2008 is handled for the second consecutive year as a successful internal marketing campaign," he added.
The zone's participation at the Gulfood 2008 continues to be record breaking, and the RAKFTZ capitalizes on its last year's exceptionally successful participation.
"Last year, the RAK FTZ took part at the Gulfood 2007 where the zone's services and facilities were brilliantly highlighted and introduced to the participants and visitors in a way that caught their attention," said El Omari, adding that the zone's participation comes also in support of the local exhibitions and business activities held in the UAE.
El Omari explained that Gulfood is the region's largest food, drink and hospitality exhibition and one of the largest of its kind in the world.
"Gulfood 2008 is a real opportunity for the RAK FTZ which has been set up in service of investors to lure investments and promote economic growth in the emirate, to introduce hundreds of participating companies from around the world to the zone's state of the art facilities and attract them to base their regional operations at the zone," he said.
"The RAK FTZ has been equipped with the world's most advanced technology that can meet all types of needs of the economic and industrial activities. The expansion plan being implemented at the zone's storehouses at the Industrial and Technology Parks is yet another added value," he said.
El Omari said the zone's participation in such key exhibitions is an essential tool to open door and attract more companies and investors from around the globe to get registered with the RAK FTZ. "With such participations, the zone introduces its world class services and facilities to the potential investors where the number of registered companies reported, and the capital investments attracted will be much bigger," he said.
