The company managed the production of the recent World Future Energy Summit 2008 (WFES 08), held at Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Centre (ADNEC) (21-23 January).

The high profile event, heralded as a global success, was held under the patronage of HH General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and hosted by Masdar.

It welcomed over 11,000 visitors from across the globe, including exhibitors from 230 companies representing some 22 countries. Over 3,500 visitors and members of the media attended the opening ceremony, with a further 1,800 guests attending the Gala Dinner, where May Hariri and Rola Saad topped the entertainment bill.

New technologies played a key role at the Summit. While HRH The Duke of York spoke at the opening ceremony his brother, HRH The Prince of Wales, appeared in a virtual form after recording his first ever hologram video message.

Stanley Norris, Revelation Middle East's general manager said: "Events are increasingly using new technologies to engage and 'wow' their audiences. We are always exploring these developments and encouraging clients to use them, especially where they can reduce an event's carbon footprint.

"This is the first time that a member of any Royal family from around the world has appeared as a hologram. It was a milestone moment in event history that we are very proud to have been a part of."

Revelation (event management) Middle East is a corporate event management company specialising in the event management and production of award ceremonies, exhibitions, conferences, corporate parties and weddings, and also video production.

The company also produced a specially commissioned video that was used to launch the Sheikh Zayed Future Energy Prize at the event's Gala Dinner, set to become one of the world's most prestigious environmental awards.
Revelation was launched in the UK in 1999 by directors Matt Sims and Catherine French. The company has enjoyed impressive growth and built an enviable client list including AXA UK plc, HBOS Plc, Orange and Procter & Gamble.

A growing client base and increasing demand for Revelation's services in the Middle East has underpinned the company's expansion into the United Arab Emirates.
