H.E. Ahmed Humaid Al Tayer, receives Turkish Minister of Economy

H.E. Ahmed Humaid Al Tayer, Chairman of Emirates NBD, received H.E. Mehmet Simsek, the Turkish Minister of State for Economic Affairs and H.E. Murat Ates, the Turkish Consul General in the UAE.

During the meeting, various points of view were presented about the economic and financial relations between the UAE and Turkey. The delegation was also briefed about Emirates NBD's plans to expand its coverage in the region. In turn, H.E. Mehmet Simsek, briefed H.E. Ahmed Al Tayer about the economic situation and the investment opportunities available for banks and companies in Turkey affirming the historical relationship between the two countries.

This visit comes as part of the continuous efforts of Emirates NBD to expand its regional and international business network in line with its strategy which aims to take the banking industry in the UAE to the international level.

The delegation also visited the Emirates NBD Pearl Museum at the Emirates NBD Headquarters and expressed their impression with the importance of this museum which reflects the culture and history of the UAE.
