Spanish group briefed about Dubai tourism infrastructure

As part of its on-going drive to promote Dubai and create better awareness about the emirate, the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) organized a presentation on the strengths and charms of the emirate for the visiting Spanish trade delegation.

The DTCM Deputy Director Inward Missions, Mr. Abdullah Bin Suwaidan, gave presentation on "Dubai Experience" highlighting the potential for the new investors and traders to the Spanish Hotel Operators & Consultants of Water Park Construction Company.

Mr. Bin Suwaidan, speaking about the evolution of Dubai, outlined the DTCM initiatives to upgrade the image and market Dubai across the world, and a variety of multi-million dirham infrastructure and tourism-related projects.

The delegation was here to explore the possibilities of operating existing city and beach hotels, finding investors in the hotel industry and help them design new hotels and operate them in addition to invest and operate hotels in the region.

The presentation aimed at creating awareness about the potential of growth in the sector besides elaborating the government initiatives and tourism infrastructure in the emirate, highlighting its prospects to strengthen its existing status of business and tourism hub across the globe.
