Sharq Village & Spa adopts the Al Noor Blind Institute

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company B.V have built a legacy of extraordinary service. This tradition extends into the hotel chain's social responsibility program, Community Footprints, and inspires to positively impact the lives of others through community outreach and corporate giving.
Events and activities will be created by the hotel's employees in order for them to remain constantly involved with the Al Noor Blind Institutes students, teachers and parents throughout the year.
"At the Ritz-Carlton our ladies and gentlemen play an important role in our endeavor to benefit our community. Without employee involvement, our outreach efforts would not be nearly as successful," said Hossein Vetry, General Manager, Sharq Village and Spa. "There are some fantastic and bright characters at Al Noor Blind Institute and we feel privileged by being able to offer them the opportunity to reach their full potential by participating in our programs." added Vetry.
The Al Noor Blind Institute will receive funds from the various fundraising activities throughout the year, organized by Sharq Village & Spa.
These activities include the highly anticipated Zai charity fashion show, which will be held at Sharq Village & Spa on March 27. The fashion fete will see world class haute couture brands showcased on an open ramp, allowing guests to admire and bid for the collection. The proceeds from this event will be donated to the Al Noor Blind Institute.
Al Noor Blind Institute and Sharq Village & Spa are also establishing a job workshop program for students of Al Noor Blind Institute. There are three students, who despite being visually impaired has shown a keen interest in working within the hospitality industry.
Both management teams are hopeful that this program will be a success by offering and sharing the senior leadership's skills and experience, as well as cultivating interest in various hospitality aspects into a life-long profession.

The Al Noor Blind Institute was inaugurated in 1998 and works to extend educational services to the blind, to help them overstep their disability and prepare them to undertake a more socially productive role.
