Borse Dubai completes OMX sale

Borse Dubai has announced on Wednesday that it sold its entire stake in Swedish stock exchange operator OMX to Nasdaq Stock Markets Inc. in accordance with previously announced plans, reported AP. Completing the deal struck between the two companies last year, Borse Dubai sold its 97.2% stake in OMX to Nasdaq in exchange for 2.9 million newly issued Nasdaq shares and around 11.7 billion kronor ($1.9bn) in cash.
