Organised under the patronage of the Ministry of Environment and Climate Affairs, the expo will highlight and discuss new challenges confronting Oman's environment. Issues relating to monitoring and determining water well field protection zones and environmental pollution incidents, protecting underground water and coastal zones from pollution and controlling pollution by using the best technology will be explored. The latest technology in the conservation of our natural resources would be showcased at the expo, covering a range of environmental products and services targeted at architects, designers, contractors, energy personnel, industrialists, HSE managers, publications, fleet managers, water and desalination and environmental experts and practitioners.

'With a wide variety of companies participating dealing with every aspect of environment conservation, Gulf Eco would be an ideal platform for business networking, brainstorming, forming liaisons and interaction with influential officials and end users of environment related services and products', says Mr. Motasam Al Shibani, Sales Executive - Exhibitions at OITE.

'An awareness event, Gulf Eco is also targeted at corporate organizations, government employees, environmental publications, media and the general public. It will provide an ideal opportunity to tap the immense market potential in the Sultanate', says Mr. Najib Al Marhoon, Head - MARCOM at OITE.

With such matters of general concern on the agenda, Gulf Eco would certainly be an informative and enlightening event for visitors and participants alike.
