Some of the countries represented by the delegates are the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, Egypt, Jordan, Pakistan, Italy, France, Spain, Switzerland, the UK, Canada and the US.

HE Mohamed Khalfan Al Romaithy, General Manager of NCEMA, said:

Although this is the very first edition of the CEMC, we are very pleased with the tremendous response that we have received from domestic and international circles. We are delighted that there is so much interest in crisis and emergency management, and we are sure that this conference will add great value and bring new insights to this region.'

'This conference is one of the very first initiatives undertaken by NCEMA and focuses on a topic that affects the security and safety of people and countries in the region,' he added.

The speakers will cover a wide variety of topics ranging from national security and counter terrorism to preparedness, trans-border pandemics, and the role of technology in crisis and emergency management.

The platinum sponsors of CEMC are Etisalat, Sorouh Real Estate, Al Qudra Holding, First Gulf Bank and Al Foah Palm Sector Development Company.

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank is the main registration sponsor. Aldar Properties is the sponsor of the CEMC gala dinner for speakers, special invitees and conference delegates which will be held at the Emirates Palace on 3rd March.
