Etisalat Academy trains 500 Etisalat staff in preparation for Nigeria launch

Etisalat Academy today announced that it has started training 200 employees from Etisalat's Nigerian subsidiary with plans of training a total of 500 employees.

The first phase of the training program extends 12 months and will focus on enhancing their telecommunication skills. Etisalat's Nigerian subsidiary plans to start operations in the coming few weeks and this training program supports Etisalat's efforts to reach the highest customer service standards across all advanced telecommunication services.

The programs planned will address Change Management, Marketing, Customer Profiling & Segmentation, Fault Reduction Control, Call Centre Upgrades, Sales Skills, Customer Service, Accounts & Finance, Project Management, Quality, Broadband Applications, Content Management, and IT Security.

Etisalat aims to prepare an ideal competitive environment so staff can respond effectively according to the requirements of competition in the Nigerian telecommunications market. Fresh Nigerian graduates will be trained to manage effectively at work which is consistent with the general vision of the company.
