"The coffees from single estates and premier coffee growing regions would bring the world of boutique coffee's to the UAE for the first time with the advantage of the beans being roasted here in the UAE," said Orbis's CEO, Justin Clarke, "We are now supplying 25 hotels and restaurants in the UAE and have increasingly been asked for coffees that we can supply on an exclusive basis."
The option to create a tailored blend for a particular restaurant or even dish has brought a new quality to a market that has traditionally relied on coffee roasted overseas of varying quality.
The gourmet coffees include the award winning Kenya Gethumbwini single estate, Jamaican Blue Mountain, Rwanda Gkongoro Nyarusiza and Hawaii Kona Greenwell Extra Fancy.
