The stand featured two PlayStation podiums with Bravia LCD screens and driving wheel with the Formula 1 game. Visitors to the stall were encouraged to race and those that came in the 1 to 10th position were given a free motor emergency kit from AXA.
Says Paul Adamson, COO AXA Insurance Gulf,
"We wanted to do something different. Since this was a conference only open to the trade audience we thought it would be nice to mix business with pleasure and add a bit of fun to what would otherwise be a very dry typical exhibition. We are serious with our clients but we don't want to take ourselves too seriously. The stall turned out to be a huge success and everyone who visited wanted to win."
"The game was obviously linked with Bahrain main sporting event, but behind it is a message of safe driving. Save your speed for the race track but drive safely on the road" says Julien Audrerie, Head of Marketing, AXA Insurance Gulf.
"GAIF has been a huge success this year and it has gone a long way towards getting the different constituencies within the insurance industry together to discuss regulatory issues and market trends in the Middle East. We'd like to thank the organizers for putting this all together and making is a well organized conference" said Paul from AXA.
