About Zain in Jordan
Zain company (previously Fastlink) was established in 1995 in Jordan, and it was the first company that provided Jordan with the mobile phone service. It became renowned as the fastest developing and most advanced company in the region as well the most accepting for the new technologies and providing innovative services. Zain exerted efforts since its establishment to expand the base of its customers until today as its subscribers are exceeding 2 million. The company provides its costumers with the services through more than 1,700 mobile stations covering all inhabited areas in Jordan.

In the beginning of 2003, the majority share in Zain's stocks in Jordan was transferred to Zain Companies Group (previously MTC). It is an ambitious company adopting a strategy for regional expansion- considered the biggest single ownership deal in the Middle East region and the biggest investment of the private sector in Jordan. Zain in Jordan became an embodiment for investors' strong and increasing trust in the Jordanian economy.
