omanoil to host welcome dinner for Petroforum Oman 2008

Oman Oil Marketing Company (omanoil), one of the leading Omani fuel and lubricants marketing companies in the Sultanate will be hosting the opening welcome dinner of PetroForum Oman 2008 which will be attended by leading local and international enterprises in the oil and gas industry.

Held at Shangri La's Barr Al Jissah Resort & Spa, the Forum is one of the most high profile events in the global petrol retail sector which brings oil companies' retail marketing, automation, engineering and procurement teams from Asia, Africa and the Middle East together with a range of international suppliers from all around the world.

"Hosting PetroForum 2008 in the Sultanate marks the nation's role as a principle player in the global energy sector and contributor to the industry," expressed Eng. Omar Ahmed Qatan, omanoil CEO in his address to the delegates.
