Jacob & Co.'s fine jewellery continues to shine with red carpet pieces

Jacob Arabo, Founder and CEO, Jacob & Co. and Mohi-Din BinHendi, President of BinHendi Enterprises, which represents the Jacob & Co brand in its luxury portfolio, launched the stunning new line to the press at a briefing held in the Burj Al Arab.

Jacob and Co is renowned in the music, entertainment, sports, celebrity and social worlds as a maker of superb jewellery and timepieces.

The company was founded just over 25 years ago in New York City by Jacob Arabo. By the mid 1990's, he had established a sterling reputation and great relationships with music artists and celebrities.

Jacob & Co. was the place to go for custom jewellery, and Arabo became legendary for his expressive designs.

The premiere collection emphasizes the rare cuts and colors which helped create the romantic aura surrounding diamonds in the first half of the twentieth century: fanciful rose cut, heart-shaped and cushion-shaped diamonds, as well as the much sought-after square emerald cut stones with brilliant step facets.

Each piece is refreshingly sentimental; exceptional stones set within designs which are classic with a contemporary flare.

Pieces from the jewelry collection include wide cuffs, straight-line "stiletto" chandeliers, and seemingly endless wraparound chains of round and fancy shaped diamonds that create a multitude of wears.

The unusually shaped solitaires are set in a variety of classic, pave and split shank designs.

The Jacob & Co. right hand, larger diamond band rings in cushion and emerald cut diamond shapes-affectionately called "rock bands"- have a crisp, bold, no-nonsense look.

Multi-color stackable rings, diamond bangles and pave hoops are a favorite among the fashionable elite.
