Mohammed Saeed Al Raqbani, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, EII said:
"This forum is a step in the right direction for easing the lives of people with special needs and their families. It brings together several institutions working towards innovative ideas to improve the lives of special needs people. The support of Emaar Industries & Investments to the event highlights our commitment to initiatives that contribute positively to the development of all segments of the society".
Now in its eighth edition, the forum is organised by the Handicapped Guardian Association, an organisation established to protect and safeguard the rights of members of society with special needs by working with governmental, national and international institutions.
"It is through the co-operation of influential segments of society that a viable impact can be made in guaranteeing the rights of those with special needs. We are proud to have Emaar Industries & Investments as one of the sponsors for the Forum," said Dr. Yousif Bin Hassan Al Sabiri, Chief Executive Officer, Handicapped Guardian Association.
Emaar Industries & Investments, a member of Emaar Properties PJSC, has an extensive portfolio of companies and joint ventures. It serves as one of the primary conduits in channeling the region's vast pool of capital liquidity for sustainable industrial growth and development.
It maintains an active corporate social responsibility program that seeks to make a viable impact on environmental, social and cultural issues in the United Arab Emirates, and was one of the first organisations to contribute to the Dubai Cares initiative.
